Beginning as a florist, she has advanced over the past 24 years to lead the horticulture and floral design teams for 13 Las Vegas properties, including Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens. Her high-impact initiatives include innovative project developments, significant water conservation efforts, strategic long-term capital planning, budget optimization, and revenue-enhancing cost-saving strategies. RETAIL TRACK: Lea Jonic MGM Resorts Lea Jonic is an experienced large-scale project manager and currently holds the position of Bellagio Conservatory Project Manager. Lea is a vital member of the Horticulture Team, overseeing the strategic operations of the iconic Conservatory & Botanical Gardens. Lea has over 15 years of extensive experience as an event producer and brand marketer. Her expertise lies in devising innovative sales, marketing, and event strategies that drive sustained business growth, as well as fostering an inspirational workplace culture and developing high-performing teams. Lea’s diverse background spans the hospitality and entertainment industries, having worked with prominent organizations such as Harrah’s Entertainment in Atlantic City, CBS Radio in Las Vegas, A Beautiful Perspective, and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Notably, she spearheaded the creation of the Lifestyle Entertainment Department at The Cosmopolitan to manage all opening activities. Beyond her professional endeavors, Lea is an avid enthusiast of live music and enjoys traveling extensively with her husband and two children, embracing new experiences and cultures along the way.
RETAIL TRACK: Trenton Frampton MGM Resorts Trenton is a seasoned professional with over 12 years of experience in horticulture and is an ISA Certified Arborist. His journey in the field began in 2014 at the renowned Bellagio, where he honed his skills as a gardener after gaining valuable experience as a local foreman for tree services. Today, Trenton serves as the Corporate Horticulture Manager for MGM Resorts, where he is responsible for overseeing the city-wide horticulture strategy and operations across seven major resorts in Las Vegas. In his pivotal role, Trenton manages a comprehensive array of responsibilities, including the execution of stunning seasonal décor installations, the development and implementation of general landscaping, and the advancement of water conservation strategies. His expertise has been instrumental in driving several horticulture revitalization projects and establishing long-term quality standards that ensure the aesthetic and ecological excellence of Las Vegas’s resort landscapes. Beyond his professional achievements, Trenton is passionate about the natural world in his personal life as well. He enjoys spending his free time fishing, gardening, and camping, and cherishes creating joyful family memories with his wife and two young children. |

ARBORIST TRACK: Casey Clapp Portland Arboriculture Casey Clapp is a professional arborist based in Portland, Ore and the co-creator and co-host of the podcast Completely Arbortrary, a weekly podcast about trees and other related topics. He brings not only a deep experiential and educational background to his work with trees, but also an enthusiasm about bringing people and trees together in an intentional way. Casey is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, Municipal Specialist, and Qualified Tree Risk Assessor. LANDSCAPE TRACK: Jeff Stoecklein Davis Partnership Architects Jeff is a senior landscape architect whose passion lies in creating inspirational outdoor spaces. He is an adaptable designer having experience in a variety of project sectors and approaches each project type looking for design ideas that stitch built and natural environments seamlessly. His experience includes outdoor venues at several colleges and universities, mixed use and multifamily, masterplanning for large office complexes and integrated parks and plazas, and outdoor trail systems. Jeff works closely with the entire architectural and engineering teams on each project to ensure the design of buildings and outdoor spaces are tightly woven and inter-connected, making sure each outdoor space fits effortlessly with the natural ecosystems and architectural concepts. |
RETAIL TRACK: Jennifer Moss Cornelison Moss Greenhouse Jennifer has grown up in a greenhouse with no plans of working in horticulture yet life brought her back. She and her brother are leading the company into the 4th generation. She served on the INLA Board for 8 years. Moss has been honored in the industry with the 40 under 40 Awards from Greenhouse Product New (GPN Magazine) in 2020 as well as receiving the HILA (Horticulture Industry Leadership Award) from Greenhouse Management Magazine in 2023. She recently graduated from the AmericanHort Horticulture Research Institute’s Leadership Academy Class of 2024 where they taught her to conquer the world one flower at a time. Currently she is serving as a Greenhouse Community Connector Lead for the AmericanHort Board of Directors keeping that group in line the best she can. Her motto in life is “Don’t do anything you can’t explain to an ambulance driver.” Life is never boring with Jennifer...
RETAIL track: Katie Dubow Garden Media Group Katie Dubow is president of Garden Media Group, a second-generation women-owned and run public relations firm specializing in the green industry. Author of the annual Garden Trends Report, Dubow presents the report worldwide – from Italy to Chicago. Dubow is also a guest host on QVC for Cottage Farms, judge at the Philadelphia Flower Show, the inaugural recipient of the Emergent Communicator Award from GardenComm, serving her third term on the board of the Pennsylvania Landscape and Nursery Association, and a member of the Forty Under 40 from Greenhouse Product News.
RETAIL TRACK: Rich Miller American Hydro Tech Born and raised in Upstate NY, I developed a love for the outdoors and the environment at an early age. I was lucky enough to spend a decade in the Renewable Energy industry based in Vail, CO where I designed and installed multiple solar PV and Thermal arrays. Once I moved to Denver, I worked in specialty construction including the project management and installation of residential and commercial green roof systems. Now, being fortunate enough to represent American Hydrotech, I have the industry perspective from the manufacturer as well as the installer. Still trying to save the planet, one roof at a time. |
