Scholarship Opportunities
The INLA awarded two scholarships to deserving candidates.
The scholarships are awarded at the Idaho Horticulture Expo in January
in Boise, ID, each year. At this time the scholarship awards are
for the amount of $750.

Idaho Nursery & Landscape Association
Presented Four Scholastic Awards in 2011:
The Idaho Nursery & Landscape Association presented
scholastic awards to two students at the annual Idaho Horticulture
Expo held in Boise, January 2010.
These outstanding students were chosen for their
scholastic record, student need and their ability and sincerity
in pursuing employment in the nursery industry in Idaho. Each student
received a check for $750.00.
Award winners are:
Dayne Johnson, originally from Meridian, received
a scholarship award at this year's luncheon. He is currently at
the University of Idaho in the Horticulture program, planning to
graduate in 2013.
Celine McClure, originally from Meridian, received
a scholarship award. She is currently attending the University of
Idaho majoring in the Landscape Architecture. She plans to graduate
in December 2011.
Jennifer Hatalaski, originally from Pennsylvania,
received the 3rd scholarship award this year. she is currently attending
the College of Western Idaho in Nampa and plans to graduate in May
of 2011. Her major field of study is horticulture, and she is minoring
in marketing.
Chandra Carr, originally from Kimberly, received
the 4th INLA Scholarship Award. She is currently attending the College
of Southern Idaho in the horticulture program.
