Test Dates: January 19, 2012 at the Idaho Hort Expo!

You must register early to be able to test! Some tests require
over 30 days for pre-registration.
Landscape
Industry Certified Technician - Exterior specialize
in Irrigation, Ornamental or Turf Maintenance, and
Softscape or Hardscape Installation. Sign
up for this test. Once you have signed up the INLA
office will send you a test book with the actual items you need
to study for for your exams. The test books are more specific
than the manuals and they include all the items you need to
be aware of during testing; safety equipment, timed tests, and
all the items that need to be completed in the alotted time.
The Landscape Certification manuals are full of excellent
information on the individual subjects (Irrigation, Maintenance
and Landscape). Many people use them as reference material
and as training guides for employees. Once an application
for the Landscape Industry Certified exam is received the
applicant receives a test bookl. The test book will be for
the specialty exam he/she has chosen (Ornamental Maintenance,
Turf Maintenance, Softscape, Hardscape or Irrigation). The
test bookl is very detailed as to what is expected of the
candidate to pass each specific site test in their chosen
specialty. The test bookwill refer back to the Certification
Manual so it is recommended that candidates have them on hand.
