outreach into the schools by visiting during career
fairs, and going to classrooms introducing the industry

At the Idaho Hort
Expo, 3rd week of January, the INLA has been providing
an high school program one afternoon where Idaho high school
students are invited to the Expo, given an hour-long presentation
from one of the horticulture industry's national speakers,
and then introduced to the Expo Trade Show. Invitations
for classrooms are sent out in the fall. If you would like
to join us, please contact abates@inlagrow.org
and let us know the instructor's name and how many
students will be participating. Students must be supervised
by an instructor at this event.
If you are interested
in having someone visit your high school, please
download a form and call the INLA office today. A representative
will be sent to your school in conjunction with any program
offered about future jobs in horticulture. Download
